Meeting the Lord in the Eucharist

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is a milestone in a child's journey of faith—the second step toward full initiation into the Church. Usually celebrated around age seven or eight (the ‘age of reason’), First Communion is the moment a child begins to participate fully in the sacramental life of the Catholic Church.

As the Eucharist is a gift that takes a lifetime to fully understand, we take great care to ensure our children are well-prepared to receive it.
